Among the strongest features of the Palm as a PDA phones is the connectivity it offers. With a USB cable, it can serve as a large USB drive. Current models, including the Treo 700w, now serve as a multi-function device with features like an MP3 player, a camera, WiFi, Bluetooth as well as other applications. The Palm Zire 71 and 72 have a camera, an MP3 player, as well as the phone. For the consumer market, the Palm Centro and the Palm Treo 500v were introduced. The Centro looked a lot more like a smartphone and less of a Palm PDA. It was thinner and with a noticeably different appearance.
