Used Nokia Cell Phones
In the world of telecommunications, the undisputed world leader is a Finnish company called Nokia. But in a different twist to the story, the company which left behind its computer business to focus on cell phones and cellular telephony equipment is now considered by some as the world's largest computer manufacturer. In a roundabout way, this is because of Nokia's highly successful N-series phones, as well as the rest of its smartphone lineup. The numbers are huge for Nokia, with over 60 million smartphones sold in 2008. This is on top of their total sales for all cell phone models, which translate to over 40% of the worldwide market share. As an aside, Nokia is one of the very few companies which manufactures cell phone models (and telephony equipment) for GSM, HSDPA, CDMA as well as Japan Cellular signals.

From the entry-level 1100 and 2100, to higher model cell phones with AM/FM radios, MP3 players, video and still cameras, there is a Nokia cell phone to suit everyone's taste. The flagship of Nokia, the N-series phones (which include the N97, N96, N79, N85) are 3.5G/HSDPA network-ready, WAP-enabled, multimedia entertainment video and music players, with a host of games, and GPS map-capable as well. One model, the N95, even has 8GB of internal memory with a 5-megapixel camera to boot.
Because of the wide range of products and the almost continuous market introduction of newer models, there is also a lively market for previously-owned Nokia units. Even ten years later, there are still old 3200-series cell phones on sale on the secondhand market. These used cell phones are a testament to the durability of Nokia devices. Although feature-for-feature, these models are outdated with voice and text messaging capability, for most people, that's all that they need. Besides, because of their popularity a lot of these models were made, even if they're no longer supported by Nokia, used cell phones are still being sold for their value as spare part sources.
