Used Blackberry Phones
Starting out as an always-on handheld email client, Research In Motion's Blackberry has become the standard in corporate communication devices. When the Blackberry was first introduced, it was likened to a two-way pager. It also looked like one. Subsequent iterations, have added the full-qwerty keyboard and the side scroll which was a feature unique to the Blackberry. The latest news about the Blackberry, surprisingly is not about any of its features but a matter of national security: President Barrack Obama is noted for his use of the Blackberry and there was an official discussion on whether or not he would be allowed to use one once he became President.

There are different Blackberry models for use with the different network signals (CDMA, GSM and iDEN). With multiple service providers carrying the product, it now has a subscriber base of almost 20 million. Blackberry 8x00 series (including the Blackberry Pearl and Blackberry Curve) run on the 2.5G/EDGE GSM network, while the 9000-series (which include "Bold" and "Storm") are capable of using 3G/UMTS, with GPS capabilities. The BlackBerry Storm (9500/9530) also has a touchscreen. Companies use the Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) to fully integrate the Blackberry with internal systems. The recent introduction of the Blackberry Pearl also brought about the first major changes in design philosophy: the device is now slimmer and can fit a shirt breast pocket. It also featured a trackball in lieu of the side scroll. These changes were implemented to make it look more "consumer friendly."
Due to its huge user base, the used Blackberry cell phone market is very much alive with almost all models going back to Blackberry 5000- and 6000-series models for GSM networks, and the 7200-series for the CDMA market. The addictive quality of an "always-on" email keeps going strong with the older models on the secondhand market.
